Weds April 17th

Although York officially begins on Friday, starting on Monday is the "Bandit Meets." Clem Clement puts out the "York Primer" to give directions and information about all these meets

 

The "Holidome" is the largest bandit meet. It runs the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before York.

The meet takes up the Holidome's indoor conference rooms as well as the hotel's parking lot.

The "Billy Budd" is not as big as the Holidome however it does have trading tables indoors and outdoors.

Thursday April 19th

Thursday was the visit to the TCA National Headquarters and Museum in Strasburg where we heard and spoke with various manufacturers! Many TCA members took a ride on the Strasburg RR. The train departs right next to the TCA Museum

HUDSON PRODUCTS

Bob Mintz finally found himself a complete Hudson Products set! This is a very rare unauthorized Lionel set from the 1970s. Read Gordon Wilson's article about it!

STANDARD GAUGE

Brad Kaplan found this thin rimmed Lionel #5 from approximately 1908 and then went to George Tebolt to get the side rods and JLM Trains to get the slide on headlight, front knob and a hand rail to properly repair the piece

As we packed up and left on Saturday we noticed this license plate in the parking lot!
Apparently the Pez collector got lost and ended up at the train show!
Don't you think you should spend less on your car and more on your trains?
One of these guys always show up!
